My new favorite store!

I absolutely love my new custom weightlifting belt! The embroidery looks fantastic and the belt itself is super sturdy and supportive. It's exactly what I needed for my lifts. I got it within 10 days of ordering, which was faster than I expected for a custom item. I am so happy with this purchase and will definitely be back for more gym gear. I've already told my lifting buddies they need to check them out!

Solid belt, slow shipping

I ordered a prong belt during a seasonal sale. The belt itself is excellent quality, very sturdy and provides great support for squats and deadlifts. I'm really happy with the product. However, the shipping took a bit longer than I expected, around 8 business days to reach me in California. I understand things can get busy during sales, but a heads-up on potential delays would have been nice. The sizing guide was accurate though, which was a plus.

Good value overall

I was looking for a new lever belt and found Gunsmith Fitness. I signed up for their newsletter and got 10% off my first order. The belt arrived in about a week. It feels solid for the price I paid. I feel like I got a good deal, especially with the discount.

Got some wrist wraps

I picked up some wrist wraps from here a couple weeks ago. They came pretty fast, like four or five days to get to me in Texas. They're comfy and do the job during my workouts. Nothing super fancy, but they work well and feel durable. Good purchase.

Detailed review of my custom belt order

I recently purchased a custom embroidered weightlifting belt from Gunsmith Fitness, going for a unique design. The ordering process was straightforward on their website; the customization tool was easy to use to pick colors and text. I received an email confirmation right away. It took about 14 days for the custom belt to be made and shipped, which was within the timeframe they stated on their FAQ for personalized items. Once shipped, it took another 4 days to reach my address in New York. The packaging was good, and the belt arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the leather and the embroidery is top-notch; it feels very robust and the stitching is clean. I had a question about cleaning the leather, and their customer service responded within 24 hours with helpful advice. Overall, a very positive experience from start to finish.

What's the deal with returns for personalized items? If my custom belt doesn't fit, am I just stuck with it?

J James 1 month ago
For custom stuff, usually returns are a no-go unless it's defective. That's why sizing really carefully is super important for those custom belts. Double check their size guide!

Yeah, I remember reading that custom gear is generally final sale. It makes sense cause they can't just resell a belt with your name on it. Make sure you measure yourself three times!

Hey, anyone know if they offer a student discount? Trying to save some cash on a new pair of knee sleeves.

M Marcus G. 1 month ago
Yeah, pretty sure they do. I saw it mentioned somewhere on their site when I was checking out last month.

Trying to pick between a lever belt and a prong belt. Any strong opinions on which is better for heavy lifting?

D Daisy 1 month ago
Lever all the way if you're going heavy. So much easier to get super tight and release quickly between sets. Prong belts are fine but levers are a game changer.

Honestly, it's personal preference. I like my prong because it feels more secure to me, less chance of it popping open. But a lot of people swear by levers for speed.

Is Gunsmith Fitness a legit brand? Never heard of them before but their gear looks pretty solid.

C Cleo S. 1 month ago
Totally legit. I've got a lever belt from them and it's built like a tank. Been using it for months, no issues.

Yeah, they're not some fly-by-night operation. They're well-known in the powerlifting community, especially for their belts. Good stuff.

How do their belts compare to Inzer or SBD? Looking for something durable for powerlifting.

R Renee A. 1 month ago
Gunsmith belts are definitely up there with Inzer and SBD in terms of quality and durability. My Gunsmith lever belt feels just as robust as my old Inzer belt did. Plus, the customization is a nice touch.

I've used SBD and Gunsmith. Gunsmith is solid, no doubt. SBD might have a slightly softer leather feel initially, but performance-wise, I don't see a huge difference. You can't go wrong with either for serious lifting.
